Hm. If you wanted to get more people to join your coalition, perhaps you should act kinder. If you just act annoying, you're only going to get more people to ally against you which would lead to your defeat.

Kindness doesn't consecrate with hardcore villainy, but if you're kind and you get others to join you, you won't technically be evil so the good guys can't come after you. You'd be in moral gray area.
