69 | Private Text For Rockets

[So instead of an audio tirade, there’s a short, simple text from Cobra Commander being sent out on the Rocket channel. After checking the PC this morning, he’s definitely not in the mood to talk to anyone right now.]

It seems that a number of Rockets are no longer with us. If any of you have recently received a Pokémon from one of them, please respond stating who it belonged to. I’m aware of at least four departures, and if there are more, it needs to be reported immediately.

[Now to try and not throw the PokéGear at something while he waits. Given that he’s already thrown an office chair, his helmet, and various papers around the room, there’s a good chance that the PokéGear’s next.]

Then I'll clarify so you can see what we've lost. One of the disappeared was an extremely brilliant researcher whose crowning achievement was demolishing the Olivine Lighthouse. The three others pulled off numerous acts of terror that did a great deal to quell any ridiculous hopes that our organization could be stopped.

[He's really going to miss them.]

So what does that mean for our merry little organization?

Hopefully, it means that those of us left will work to fill that void. In order to not give our enemies any sign that we've recently suffered major losses.

If they haven't already noticed, you mean.

I doubt that. Otherwise, our losses would have been much more severe.

Possibly.

It's more than possible. I'm almost certain that we would have lost more. There's no way that anyone capable of doing this would have stopped at only four people. I know for a fact that I certainly wouldn't.

They could simply be testing us. Even the smallest blows eventually add up.

If that isn't the case, then oh well. It's just best to keep all possibilities in mind.
