[Today’s the 8th. That means another video (or three) from Cobra. He’s standing next to a building in Pallet Town wearing what appears to be a winter coat despite the fact that it’s May. And he doesn’t seem to be very happy about his demands being met.]

I had thought that the threat of complete annihilation would be enough to get what I want. Apparently, I was wrong. Apparently mere words are not enough to convince you all to make the right decisions even when those words come from someone such as myself. Sssso since I failed to convince you with words, you now leave me no choice but to offer a demonstration of what I’m capable of.

[And with that, Cobra produces a small remote from his pocket and pushes a button.]

Keep an eye on your PokéGears. Ssssoon you shall have proof that my threats were far from empty!

[About fifteen minutes after the first broadcast ends, there’s a second video from Cobra. Same location as before, but there appears to be some sort of freak storm going on. Hail, lightning, high winds, and even some snow. Cobra’s keeping his Pokémon off screen and separated in order to make it look as natural as possible. Or well as natural as a freak ice storm in early May can be.

And the whole time this is going on, Cobra’s cackling like an idiot again. Unfortunately, this goes on for quite a while before he cuts the feed.]

[Tired of Cobra yet? Yes? Too bad. There’s a third video sometime later, showing the aftermath of the storm. Nothing’s leveled or anything like that, but the Pokémon equivalent of Home Depot is probably going to be pretty busy over the next couple weeks or so.]

[Okay, hang on, there’s something off screen taking up most of Cobra’s attention.]

Under arrest? Is thissss some sort of joke? You dare arrest me?

[After several minutes of arguing and trying to threaten his way out of this, Cobra’s finally handcuffed.]

You can’t do thissss to me! You’ll pay for thissss! I have rights! I want a lawyer! You’ll pay for thisss!

[And with that, Cobra’s final video for the day comes to a close.]

[ You're kidding her? Her supervisor arrested?! She isn't quite sure how to react to this, so instead she just rolls her eyes before turning on the video feed. ]

What town are you in? Any orders for the next two weeks? [ She might as well take care of business first. ]

[He wasn't really paying attention to where they were taking him. He was far too busy screaming about his rights and swearing revenge and other villain things.]

[ She didn't know Johto Police had monitoring systems. Well, she quickly turns the camera to point at something inoffensive, like a wall that has a bunch of photographs of ... Cobra's villainous deeds.

God damn it. She turns it to the next wall, which just has a few certificates of Villainy. Well, close enough. ]

Fair enough. And Pallet? They have their own jail? With their own monitoring system? [ Is there any actual use for this? It's freaking Pallet Town. ]

It's hardly anything sophisssticated.

[There's a quick glance off camera.]

They're close enough to hear my conversations. As far as I know, that's all.

Hmm... if it's that unsophisticated, how does the jail react to a visiting policy?

I have no idea. That might be sssomething worth looking into.

Of course not. I was able to convince them for a variety of reasons that removing thisss faceplate would be a very very poor act on their parts.

[This is hardly his first trip to prison, and he's worked out a variety of excuses ranging from life support to it being explosive.]

Excellent. Now, did you tell them anything about relatives? [ Lust concocting a Brilliant Brilliant Plan. ]

I haven't mentioned anything about anything. An American sssssoldier is taught to only give name, rank, and ssserial number, but I have not even volunteered that. They have my codename and that will be all they receive from me.

Okay. I will be dressed in a Ho-Oh mask. If they ask if you know me, make up some type of relation I could correlate with. [ She does not want to be a daughter or sister, but if that's the first thing that comes to his mind. ]

[Luckily they don't exist in his universe, otherwise Cobra would be picturing the strangest combination of Raptor and Billy right now.]

Understood. I'm ssssure I can think of something before then.

[In the meantime, he'll be thinking of some ridiculous bird code name.]

[ Oh, dear god. That might be bringing up a lot of "I've failed as a dad" feels with Cobra Commander. ]
