Despite your constant refusals, I have finally received the HM for Fly. I know by now you’re all busy with the recent monster attack, but just keep thisss in mind: I can now be anywhere in Johto at any time! Meaning nowhere is safe from attack! Nowhere!

[There isn’t much to see on the video. The signal scrambler’s in the background, so is Trubbish, who much to the Commander’s dismay is goofing off with some Digletts. That’s really about it.]

As you can see, the device is working perfectly on thissss end. No problems yet.

And Gorthan, I really must congratulate you. Bringing the trash to life and having it menace the towns is most impressssive! Though I am curious, I saw sssome Trubbish through the Gear, and they’re coloring is different. Do you know why?

Also, Archer, the creatures hatched. I definitely ssssee several uses for them in the future!

And lastly, as I said I received Fly, but apparently another Badge is required to actually use it. Do any of you know which one? I’d ask everyone, but we all know they’d probably lie, and I do not tolerate being lied to!

I probably wouldn't be using it to do damage right away. And if it really is that powerful at such a low level, then perhaps Abra would be the best bet. At the sssame time, I'd need the move as soon as possible, so which one learns it first? And which one hatches faster? I noticed with the last two eggs that there was a considerable delay before Scyther hatched.

Abra comes knowing the move, while Ralts learns it at a later level. Both hatch around the same time, I believe.

[Archer nods at that; yes, he probably should have warned about that.]

Depending on the species, sometimes the eggs do take longer to hatch. I still have one that hasn't hatched.

Abra would be best then. One final question, can inanimate objects be teleported? There was a machine in my world called the M.A.S.S. Device, that could teleport anything anywhere! Troops, vehicles, weapons, anything! I underssstand that this is limited to the last Center, but if it could move similar objects for me, then it would be even more useful than I had previousssly imagined!

[He's picturing teleporting a bomb or a Voltorb into a Center and then detonating it.]

That's an excellent question. I haven't tried it. I believe it would be possible, but the Pokémon teleports with you. It wouldn't be possible to teleport something without going along with it, but if you can carry it, you should be able to teleport with it.

It will come knowing Protect, but otherwise no egg moves. If you have the funds for it, I suggest purchasing a TM so you can at least have it use some move to attack.

I recently obtained the move Psychic from the Ssssaffron Gym. Would that work?

They do learn Psychic on their own, but if you're willing to part with the TM then that will certainly do.

Then that could be used to my advantage. Lure enemies in expecting a useless monster, then surprise them with Psychic!

Or perhaps Frustration would work too. After all, I doubt ssssuch a creature would be very happy about not being able to attack.

[Archer smirks at that - oh Cobra, you're crazy. He approves.]

Frustration is a physical attack, isn't it? Abras have absolutely horrible Attack stats. It would be better to use Psychic, in my opinion.

Ssso then I assume Rock Smash would be useless as well?

[He doesn't even know if Abra can learn that.]

I don't believe it can learn Rock Smash. But if it can then yes, that would also be rather useless.
