Thisss is Cobra Commander speaking. To those of you working on that list, what progress have you made? It’s been over a month since I last asked, so I should hope that some sort of progressss has been made. Report in if you have anything!

And in case anyone feels that they need to know what I'm doing in thisss place, the answer is work! Lots of work! I’ve recently been transferred to Vermillion City to oversssee Team Rocket’s ssshipping concerns. In addition to that, I have been conducting ssssurvelliance on an individual in thisss city! Surveillance that I believe will be well worth the time invested when it’s finished! And that's all you need to know for now!

Only the basics so far. I've investigated the Gym myself, challenged it, so I've spoken with the man directly. I'm ssstationed nearby so I've been able to observe the daily traffic in and out of the building.

[Did he forget to mention that he's spying on a Gym Leader? Because he is.]

I've considered various forms of electronic espionage, but setting it up could be problematic.

Oh? What types of problems?

A number of them! Figuring out the best way to bug the building, acquiring the devices, installing them without getting caught, making sure they record properly, making sure they aren't detected, and ssso on!

[Which all sounds like way too much of a hassle.]

Ssso at the moment, a low tech approach seems to be the best solution! For now!

You have not tried to monitor his activities with this device?

[ Still kind of assuming either everyone uses these 'Gears or this person has one. ]

I've considered ssstealing one and hiding it somewhere in the Gym, yesss.

[Or sneaking one of his snake Pokemon in there with it somehow.]

I haven't done anything like that yet because I haven't found the right place to hide such a thing!

[ Hmm... this is good information to have. Yes, good... ]

Do you not have Pokemon skilled in stealth?

Of course I do! Ssskarmory can spy from the air! And my Dunsparce can tunnel into the ground! And those are just the first things that come to mind!

[Though even he can't think of a way to make something like Abomasnow or Scolipede sneaky.]

Why not utilize them, then?

[ Dunsparce... yes... he'll be taking note of that name. ]

Because.

[It takes some effort to not add the word idiot or moron after that statement.]

The Gym, like all of the other Gyms as far as I know, has a roof! Making air surveillance almost useless! And Dunsparce's digging abilities are equally useless when dealing with an actual floor!
