[Today, Cobra Commander is once again broadcasting on the Rocket frequency. From the feed, it appears that he's in some sort of office. He’s seated a desk with a number of shipping invoices and other harbor related documents scattered on top of it.]

Thisss is Cobra Commander speaking. To those of you working on that list, what progress have you made? It’s been over a month since I last asked, so I should hope that some sort of progressss has been made. Report in if you have anything!

[Cobra Commander glares at the camera for a moment before continuing. Someone had better have something to report by now. Or else he’ll be forced to lecture people about what happens when they disappoint him.]

And in case anyone feels that they need to know what I'm doing in thisss place, the answer is work! Lots of work! I’ve recently been transferred to Vermillion City to oversssee Team Rocket’s ssshipping concerns. In addition to that, I have been conducting ssssurvelliance on an individual in thisss city! Surveillance that I believe will be well worth the time invested when it’s finished! And that's all you need to know for now!

Centuries. I've been tracking three particular individuals here. A man named Roy Mustang, a man named Maes Hughes, and a boy named Edward Elric. [ There are others but they're like, low-tier trash. ]

And Hughes as in the Rocket trainer? Why?

[He won't ask about Mustang because Archer and Kimblee have told him all about that particular problem.]

The rocket trainer? [ Well, that's a new fact. She'll have to keep a closer eye on him. She delves into what she knows after a hesitant sigh. ] Let's just say that back home he has a more good ideology and allegiance.

[He doesn't really need a brief history of Amestris. Unless "Solaris" wants to trade for a brief history of Cobra-La or something.]

Yesss, he was training the new recruits in Goldenrod. That's odd though. From what I could sssee, he was a model Rocket. I didn't sssee any signs of anything like that!

No. It just makes more experienced than other people who'd be looked at for the job. I'm guessing you're a human? [ Great. She's taking orders from a human. But, he's the highest operative and if she needs to climb the evil corporate ladder, she's going to have to just bite her lip and continue. Maybe some passive aggressive sarcasm here and there but otherwise, she'll be the most competent sidekick.

Well, I wonder who is more correct. The one that's been keeping tabs on him for the last couple of years or the one that meant him briefly.

And I wasn't sssaying that you're wrong. Just that if he was hiding sssomething, he certainly did a good job of it.

He's trained to by the military. He usually leads investigation and records. He's a fairly intelligent man, but, he does need a strict eye on him. Did I mention that he is particularly close to Mustang? [ because that needs to be mentioned. ]

Do you think he was passing information to Mustang?

[Not that it really matters now since Hughes is gone from Johto, but it would answer a question Cobra's been wondering about for a while.]

Highly likely. They're very close associates and have worked and interacted often before. [ Thank god for her super official secret connections. ] Hughes often supplies the intelligence and knowledge while Roy is the muscle. But, Roy is also a sharp thinker as well. As long as one of them is removed from the organization, I suppose there isn't a need for severe surveillance. [ She's aware to the fact that he left, but there's always a chance he could return like Ed. Better prepare now than be sorry later. ]

Well, there's nothing we can do about that now!

[At least now he has a very good idea of who that less than loyal Rocket he was told about was. Still, he's grumbling about this. It's a shame he didn't find this out earlier.]

But we can certainly be prepared if he ever returns to thissss place!

Preparation is key to defeating any obstacle. [ It's why she has that much success as a villain! She prepares! She's not too good with on the ball reaction thinking. That usually makes her end up as cinders. ]

Yesss, I agree. We definitely need a plan of attack if he shows his face in thisss organization again.

[Cobra prepares too! It just ends really badly most of the time. Usually because he replaces Destro's preparation with his own.]

It shouldn't be too hard. We install a monitoring system into his communicator without his knowledge based on our findings, We later bait both of them to a location where we can trap one. He's kicked out, or imprisoned by Team Rocket and we both receive a hefty bonus. [ The end. Experiences in Central: Priceless.
